Prime Concert Guide welcomes pitches that help readers make sense of the choices and customs around live music. Send proposals through the Contact page, with a clear subject and a sense of what readers will take away.
What we want to read
We are interested in considered, evergreen contributions about choosing concerts, understanding venues and programmes, listening with curiosity and planning an outing. A pitch should focus on one useful question, explain why it matters to concert-goers and show how the piece will answer it without requiring specialist knowledge.
Make the pitch specific
Send a working title, a short summary, the intended reader and a few lines about your approach. Say what makes the piece distinct from general concert advice and flag any personal, financial or other connection that could affect how readers understand it. We welcome clear, original ideas rather than completed promotional copy.
Submitting and editing
Please use the Contact page to send your proposal and select the editorial question option. A pitch is not a promise of publication. If an idea is a fit, we may discuss its scope, wording and any revisions needed for clarity, accuracy or the publication's focus.
A concert begins with curiosity
There is no single right way to go to a concert. A little curiosity about the music, the room and your own listening can open up the whole evening.
